Dating back to the 1950s with one location in the Bronx, PSK Supermarkets -- named after founder Paul Sydney Katz -- owns Foodtown, Freshtown, Pathmark, and Peck's Markets stores in New York City, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley. Today, the chain is led by Noah Katz but has been employee-owned since 2021.
