A Key Food-affiliated chain of gourmet grocers, Brooklyn Fare originated in Downtown Brooklyn in 2009. The Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare, an upscale restaurant originally paired with the Downtown Brooklyn location, was Brooklyn's only Michelin three-star restaurant until it moved to Hell's Kitchen in 2016. A visit to Chef's Table will cost more than $300 per person, but the supermarket's approach is to blend gourmet items with everyday groceries.
