The largest Indian supermarket chain in the US, Patel Brothers originated on Chicago's Devon Avenue, a center for Indian American businesses. Although Patel Brothers is now a national chain, there are only two locations in New York City. The Associated Supermarket Group lists Patel Brothers as a member, but they're primarily self-distributed, including through their own SWAD brand of products.
